There are numerous trails in the woods for you to explore and to enjoy the beauty of nature. (Trails are closed October 31-December 31 for hunting season). There is also a pond for those that enjoy fishing. A fishing license is not required; however, it is strictly catch and release (bait and tackle not provided). The clearing is great for playing catch, throwing Frisbee, or playing outdoor games you may bring. In the evening, you can sit around the campfire (firewood provided) and enjoy the sounds of the frogs down at the pond and the crackling of the fire. There is also a charcoal grill provided, but you will need to bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid.
