A truly unique retreat for those that love the outdoors! The Songbird Chalet is located just outside of Middlebury. When you arrive at our quaint chalet, you will find bright and airy accommodations for your enjoyment. With windows on three sides, you will enjoy views of the woods, meadow and the pond just beyond.
recreation
You can enjoy the woods by walking on the numerous trails that are located there for bird watching and other wildlife viewing in general! There is a pond for those that enjoy fishing (no fishing license required) but it is strictly catch and release. In the evening you can enjoy a campfire (firewood provided) in the woods next to the chalet. There is also a charcoal grill provided for your use (please bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid).
accommodations
Inside the chalet you will find accommodations for 2-4 people. There is a Queen size bed along with a sleeper sofa. There is one shower bathroom. All towels and linens are provided. And for laundry, there is a washer and dryer available. No pets allowed except for service animals.
necessities
Songbird Chalet has a fully equipped kitchen has basic cookware, a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and a coffee maker. The kitchen table is just right to seat up to 4 people and enjoy your morning coffee while enjoying the view.
